Priscilla Johnson, LPC

People face many challenges in their lives that they have difficulty addressing. My primary goal is to help people find new ways to address stress, cope with complicated relationships, and face many other common life challenges. I help preteens, adolescents, and adults address their mental health disorders, such as depression, anxiety, post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD), self-esteem, mood disorders, personality disorder, and stress. I hope to help the client to address their issues and live healthier lives. By applying therapeutic techniques will help the client to learn how to better manage life situations

Get to know me.

I am a veteran and a spouse of a veteran. We both served in the United States Navy. I understand the life of an active military member and the life as a military spouse.  I have taken the helm of my household and been mother and father while my husband served our country.

I am a mother, grandmother, and dog mom to three Frenchie’s. I have been helping people for over 10 years in different roles. I have been an Ombudsman for one of my husband’s commands, and Family Readiness Group President.

I have a Master of Business Administration with a concentration in Human Resource Management from Walden University, a Master of Arts in Professional Counseling from South University, and Master of Science in Psychology from Walden University. I am  currently working on my PhD in Counseling Education and Supervision with a concentration in Clinical Mental Health at Walden University.

I love to learn and apply what I have learned in practice. On my down time, I am a reality television junkie, I love to crochet, and spending time with my husband, and our dogs.
